Those using LCM may have noticed a new set of software being pushed via LCM as of late. The ability to update CMU came with LCM starting in version 2.3.4. The CMU is a set of tools and scripts that you can use to free up resources in the /home partition on a CVM.

CMU 2.0.3 adds the Scavenger cleanup tool, which allows the CVM or the Prism Central VM to identify and remove unwanted files from the /home partition.

When installing the latest version, the Cluster Maintenance tools will not require a reboot of the CVM or Host. It will restart genesis and scavenger services.
